The DNA Learning Centre (DNALC) Nigeria, Godfrey Okoye University, paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Felix Nnamani, the newly appointed Commissioner for Labour in Enugu State. Nnamani, previously the Commissioner for Water Resources, was recently reassigned to lead the state’s Labour Ministry.
Led by our Director, Prof. George Ude, the DNALC Nigeria team congratulated the commissioner on his new role and expressed our commitment to supporting the training of the next generation of biological scientists. The initiative aims to equip young professionals with the skills to address real-world challenges through experimental and scientific methods. Prof. Ude emphasized that DNALC Nigeria stands ready to collaborate with the ministry to advance STEM education and innovation in Enugu State and across Nigeria.

In response, Commissioner Nnamani, reaffirming the vision of Governor Peter Mbah’s administration, expressed enthusiasm for a productive partnership. He highlighted the state’s commitment to experiential education as a cornerstone for comprehensive human capital development. Nnamani assured that the collaboration would drive significant progress in building a skilled workforce capable of contributing to the state’s and nation’s development.
Details of the planned collaboration are expected to be finalized in the coming weeks, with both parties optimistic about its impact on education and economic growth in the region.
